How to add a Privacy Policy Page in Blogger?

Now, you must have learnt about monetizing your blog as discussed in the previous post. If you want to apply for Adsense, then you must have a privacy policy page. Without a Privacy Policy page, you would not be qualified for Adsense.
So in this post, I will be telling you about a Privacy Policy page, how to create one for your blog or website and how to add this to your blog or website.
Before going to learn how to add Privacy Policy page to the blog, let us first get to know something about the Privacy Policy page and why it is necessary to add to your blog.

What is a Privacy Policy page?

A Privacy Policy page is a legal agreement that tells your readers about :

• What information/data do you collect from them
• What is the purpose of collecting data from them
• How do you collect, store and use data from them
• Why you need this personal information
• If you give share their data to any third party services

How to add a Privacy Policy page on Blogger?

1. Sign in to your Blogger Account.
2. Click on the Pages to add a Privacy Policy page, located on the left side of the Blogger menu.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click on New Page Button.
  
4. A new window will open up. Here at the title, write Privacy Policy and write your Privacy Policy as shown in the picture.
   
5. When finished writing Privacy Policy, Click on the Publish Button.
6. Now go to Layout, located on the left blogger menu.
   
7. Select the area where you want your Privacy Policy page to appear. I have selected  Sidebar(bottom), this is where my page will be shown.
   
8. Now, click on Add a Gadget option. A new window will open up. Search for Pages Section and click on Add icon.

10. After editing the settings carefully, Click on the Save Button.
