What is Alt text?

The Alt text stands for Alternative text. If you are using the Internet then you might have been familiar with this 'Alt' tag. The Alt tag is used to provide an Alternative text for an Image. You must have noticed this on the Internet that, when the image is unable to load, a text comes on that place and that text is what is known as Alt text or Alternative text.

 Its benefit can be seen on the webpage when the image is not loaded for any reason(such as slow internet connectivity, or image source not found) and instead of the image, this text(Alt text) appears which tells the user about the image.

This also helps in Google search and plays a vital role in SEO.

So, we have known about Alt text. Now, let us read further to know about Image title.

What is Image title?

Image title is not a difficult thing. As per the name suggests, it is the title given to any image. Google also searches the image with the help of image title. So, it also helps in SEO.

Where to place Alt text?

• Open your Blog. Open the post on which you want to work.
• Upload the image on Blogger.
• Click on the required image to Select it.
•  Now, you will see some options will appear above your image as seen in this picture.
• Now, Click on the Properties menu.

• A menu will open up on a new window.
• Enter your Image Title and Alt TEXT here.

• Click on OK.

Now, you have successfully entered your Image title and Alt text.
